Slim straight jeans with a low/medium rise constructed from our 21/23oz UHR denim. UHR is an acronym for “Ultra Heavy Raw”, an unsanforised and loomstate fabric, UHR denim fabric starts at 21oz, and becomes (approximately) 23oz after shrinkage. The UHR enjoys virtually legendary status amongst aficionados and fans of the brand, due to its fading potential, and the density of the weave.

The amount of shrinkage will depend on how hot and vigorously the jeans are washed. With a 40 degree C wash you can expect approximately 1" shrinkage in the waist, and up to 2" of shrinkage in the inseam. All other dimensions will shrink proportionately to the waist and inseam.  Those dimensions that are put under pressure during wear will have a tendency to stretch back out, and those that aren’t will not. Measurements are specific to the product displayed on this page.  The best way to determine your size is to measure a similar item that fits you well using the method shown in the "How we Measure" tab and compare with the size chart.  Note that Iron Heart items of the same size can vary slightly.  If a specific dimension (for example, arm length) is important to you, please ask us to check this by adding a note to your order.

Expect approximately 1 inch shrinkage in the waist, and up to 2 inches shrinkage in the inseam
